Airport Industries Lightning Protection & Earthing Projects

Kalot has installed lightning-protection and earthing systems for 37 critical air-navigation sites across Imam Khomeini International, Shiraz, Tabriz, Bushehr, Khorramabad, Kermanshah, Yazd, and other airports — including Radar, DVOR/DME, Localizer, ILS, NDB, and RCAG units.

Air-navigation equipment (radar, ILS, DVOR) is highly sensitive to lightning and transient surges, and downtime can threaten flight safety. Kalot designed a dedicated lightning-protection and earthing system per navigation unit, reducing lightning-damage risk to this critical equipment.
